Social media Song -Crazy little thing called the Web-Building a loyal customer base

I remember back in the early nineties hearing about the internet and I thought to myself at the time not another new fad this one will come and go just like the rest of them.  How wrong could I have been. The funny video clip above describes it beautifully. Now I am starting a mile behind and I find my head spinning from so many different things to learn.
For me the greatest innovation that everyone takes for granted is skype its changed the way we communicate around the world. The use of skype allows me to have a business coach on the other side of the world.
The use of technology has changed how we do business around the world, in spite of all this new technology many of the basics of business still remain the same, social media is purely another way of engaging with people with the basics of business still  remaining the same, by engaging with people we still need to build trust and provide value.
From the short time that I have been on the net the number one priority for most people seems to be transparency.
I don’t know about you but I will be physically sick if I see another claim for someone promising to send huge amounts of targeted traffic to my site for the bargain price of $77.00 or what ever price!
If it were that easy to generate traffic we would all be doing it! The old saying if it seems to good to be true it usually is.
I have found that finding your niche or passion is the best way to go. If you don’t know what that is you should ask your spouse, partner or some one close to you. I am sure they will tell you how good you are at something.
Once you identify what you are good at then, you can assess whether there is a need within your interest or niche that you can forfill with the skills that you have to offer. Its a matter of conducting a bit of research to find out what gaps there are and what possible ways you could meet those needs.

This could be done either online or off line there are a multitude of different ways to gather this sort of information. Once you identify your niche then its up to you to formulate a plan to meet the needs of your target group.

When taking on this approach the best way to engage with people is to firstly understand their needs and provide value to them. cognac glasses . People will want to buy from you if they like you and if you add value to their lives.

It maybe easier to make a quick buck with one sales commission from the next latest greatest software from click bank but to build lasting customer loyalty it takes a bit more effort.

So even in this high tech world we live in, the fundamentals of good business remain unchanged. IKEA Denver Coupons . We all know how competitive the internet is so if you want to stand out, there is a need to do thinks differently.

Please give some thought to this and let me know your ideas for finding your business niche.

    Hi Stan
I agree with you totally, business fundamentals remain the same both on line and off. Providing value, service,is key.
It takes time to build a relationship with the coustomer, at least if you want to create any kind of worthwile and profitable (for both) result. You can only sell rubbish once, quality and value lead to ongoing sales, and ultimatly a stronger and less stressful business.
I am also late into this but my business experiences off line have led me to believe there is little diffence between the two.
Thank you for commenting on my blog, I am also in the 100 challenge, a great idea for relationship building.
I enjoyed reading yours I too am sick of the hype
    All the best
    Vince

Hi Vince, I think there is a sharp learning curve for everyone wanting to create an on line business, as I have mentioned it is so highly competative so we need to make ourselves stand out from the competion. This means doing things a little differently, by taking a genuine interest in all people we come across on and off line.
    Thank you for your comments.
